In November 1998, 300PSI successfully repaired a 3/8" diameter hole which had developed in a section of a sub-sea pipeline manifold lying in 1015' of water offshore China.  The sub-sea repair proved to be an efficient method to resolve deep-water leaks.  The repair consisted simply of pumping the composite to the leak and pressurizing the pipeline progressively as the crystallization of the Vortex/Seal-Maker forms at the leak-point.    Small leak diameters can be effectively repaired with chemical alone, whereas, large leaks can be clamped to retain the composite.  The chemical can typically be pumped directly to a leak with the existing rig equipment.

Today,
300PSI provides clamp design, fabrication, installation, and the necessary chemical services for remote installation leak repair.   The adaptation of the SealMaker system for this type of leak repair illustrates 300PSI's growing potential to provide technical solutions for the Oil & Gas Industry throughout the world.
